The Children’s Department offers storytime sessions in the spring, fall, and winter. Sessions include age-appropriate themed stories and activities including music, movement, and crafts. New participants are always welcome. Please note the age limitations outlined below for the specific storytime sessions.

Kids ages 5 and up can sign up for a 15 minute session between 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Kids will love the comfortable experience of reading to Dolce the goldendoodle. Dolce will listen to your child read and help develop their reading confidence. Dolce and her handler Peg Kirby have been trained by "Tufts Paws for People," a non-profit organization in Central Massachusetts associated with the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
